I believe that yoga can be an amazing way to make space for yourself, feel good, tune into your breath and have fun.
I teach yoga that is a mixture of hatha yoga and flow (or vinyasa) yoga, as well as pregnancy yoga in Oxfordshire and beyond.
I am now offering online home yoga classes via Zoom for you to move, breathe and feel good from your living room. Yoga at home is a beautiful things that I am really passionate about and I’d love to help you with your home practice.
Classes are suitable for all levels and you’re very welcome to come in your PJs and bring anyone else who lives with you too.
Please send me a quick email if you’d like to come and I’ll send you the details and links.
Private yoga classes are great for individuals, small groups or businesses. I teach yoga to groups and individuals in person (when we can) and online. Please contact me to find out more.
Events and pop-up yoga
I really love running events and pop-up yoga classes. Teaching yoga outside and in unusual settings is on of my favourite things to do and I also get very excited about combining yoga with other forms of wellness. Please contact me if you are interested in a bespoke event or collaborating.
My yoga journey
I trained as a yoga teacher with Waking Minds Yoga in 2017 and 2018. This was a 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) course, accredited by Yoga Alliance. I now practice and teach a mixture of hatha and flow yoga. Hatha literally means sun and moon – it’s all about the balance between heat and cool, sweaty and stretchy, fast and slow. Flow yoga (sometimes called vinyasa) really means working with the breath and a connection between the poses (or asanas).
I first learned and began practicing yoga while I was at university. Since then I’ve always come back to yoga as a way to relax, feel better in my body and reconnect with myself. After having my first child I began practicing yoga more than ever. With a small person in my life, I found a lot of things I needed on my mat.
I have subsequently training in pregnancy yoga at Whitespace Studio. This training means I can include pregnant women into my general classes, as well as teach pregnancy yoga classes. Pregnancy is a beautiful and magical time, but I know it can also bring challenges. I have found yoga so beneficial in my journey through pregnancy and motherhood that I am delighted to be able to share this with other pregnant people.
